In 1999, VLW spearheaded a survey of law students about safety and security. Results revealed student interest in more proactive measures to enhance security at the Law School. Alongside this survey, VLW fundraised for the Sexual Assault Resource Agency and sent a Law coalition to UVA’s annual Take Back the Night march. Virginia Law Weekly, 16 April 1999.
