In 1985, VLW worked with the UVA Law Placement Office to create guidelines for recruiting interviews to combat sexual discrimination. The Law Women had initiated its own student survey to find out about the prevalence of such discrimination and then worked with the Placement Office that year to draft and distribute resulting guidelines.
